Guangxi Academy of Marine Sciences is a public welfare class of institutions managed by Guangxi Academy of Sciences, plus the “Guangxi Mangrove Research Center” brand. Guangxi Academy of Marine Sciences by the Guangxi Mangrove Research Center (Guangxi Marine Environment and Coastal Wetland Research Center) and the Guangxi Academy of Sciences within the Guangxi Beibu Gulf Marine Research Center set up by the integration of the main responsibilities: around the high-quality development of high-quality scientific and technological needs of the seaward economy, the mangrove wetlands, marine organisms, such as the restoration of important ecological resources and the use of ecological environmental safety and security, wisdom of the sea, new materials and other aspects of the frontier scientific issues and key core technologies. The Offshore Dynamical Processes and Ecosystems Group is the earliest team in our region to carry out research on ocean dynamics and ecosystems in Beibu Gulf. The main research direction of the team is the offshore dynamical process and its environmental and ecological effects in Beibu Gulf. The team has undertaken a number of provincial and ministerial research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Guangxi Key Research and Development Program, and is committed to promoting the research on offshore dynamical processes and their environmental and ecological effects in the Beibu Gulf, which provides a solid scientific foundation for the development of shallow-sea physical oceanography and marine ecology in China. The team won one third prize of Guangxi Science and Technology Progress Award in 2023. Relying on Guangxi Key Laboratory of Offshore Marine Environmental Science, the team continues to contribute to the basic and applied research on offshore dynamical processes and ecosystems.

Due to the development of the team this need to recruit marine biology professionals, in accordance with the principle of openness, equality, competition and meritocracy, openly recruiting 1 scientific research personnel for the whole society.

Recruitment Position and Requirements

Recruitment Position: Doctoral Position

Requirements for education or title: doctoral students, title is not limited.

Specialization: Marine Biology

Job responsibilities: to carry out research related to offshore dynamics and ecological response mechanism in Beibu Gulf.

Age Requirement: None

Requirements on working years and working experience: preferably with the background of coupled research on ocean dynamics and ecology.

Other requirements: good communication, coordination and organization skills.

Third, the basic conditions for recruitment

V. Qualification Review

Sixth, interview, assessment

Interviews mainly test the candidates to fulfill their duties necessary professional ability, mainly to examine the candidates' political and ideological performance, moral character, as well as business ability related to the position applied for, work performance, job matching and so on.
