On July 20, the Mid-term Inspection Preparatory Meeting of the National Key Research and Development Program “Beibu Gulf Land and Sea Relay Intelligent Fishing Farm Farming Equipment and New Models”, chaired by Prof. Yuan Chang'an, Secretary of the Party Group and President of Guangxi Academy of Sciences, was successfully held in Beihai.

At the meeting, each subject person in charge of the progress of the task of each subject, respectively, from the progress of the subject, the progress of the implementation of sub-tasks, the completion of the assessment indicators, the milestones achieved, the implementation of funding, problems and recommendations, the next step in the plan and so on to make a detailed introduction, the President of the College as a participant in the project Yu Ermeng did the relevant work report. After the report of each topic, Prof. Yuan Chang'an, the project leader, made a summary speech on the overall implementation of the project. He affirmed the effective promotion of the project, pointed out the shortcomings of each topic, and made instructions and requirements on the interconnection between the topics, integration and fusion of the technical achievements of each topic, platform construction and promotion of the operation, and put forward that the project should provide support for high-quality marine aquaculture in Beibu Gulf in the next step, The next step of the project is to provide support for high-quality marine aquaculture in Beibu Gulf and to serve the high-quality development of Beibu Gulf seaward economy.

Finally, two project consultants, Prof. Xu Guilin from Nanning Normal University and Researcher Zhang Libin from Institute of Oceanography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, affirmed the implementation of the project and the milestones of the project, and gave guiding suggestions and opinions on the form of the project assessment, collaboration of the topics, highlights of the results of the condensation, key technologies, application demonstration and other issues.

The meeting included project consulting experts, leaders of each project topic, leaders of sub-tasks, relevant persons in charge of the Department of Science and Technology and Achievement Transformation, Department of Regional and International Cooperation of the Academy, Guangxi Academy of Marine Sciences, High Technology Group, Guiqi Academy of Science and Technology Ltd. and other relevant persons, totaling more than 50 people attended the meeting.
