The Sino-German Cooperation on Climate Change "Supporting the Implementation of China's Nationally Owned Contributions (NOC)" is a bilateral project funded by the International Climate Initiative (IKI) of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWi) of the Federal Republic of Germany and implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) of the People's Republic of China through the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the National Centre for Strategic Climate Change Research and International Cooperation (NCSC). The project aims to contribute to China's efforts to achieve its greenhouse gas targets. The project aims to contribute to China's efforts to achieve greenhouse gas emission reductions, low-carbon development and adaptation to climate change. The project will not only provide international best practices and lessons learnt in addressing climate change, but also support the enhanced implementation of climate policies and measures in the 14th Five-Year Plan at the national and local levels.
