On April 26, 2024, Guangxi Cadre College organized 60 participants of the Seminar on the Work of Democratic Parties in the Autonomous Region, including leaders of the United Front Work Departments of the relevant units of the district, colleges and universities, state-owned enterprises, and leaders in charge of the United Front Work Department of the Party Committees of the municipalities, etc., to visit and study in the Innovation Base of Coastal Ecology Conservation and Utilization of Guangxi Academy of Marine Sciences (Guangxi Mangrove Research Center) and carry out on-site teaching activities.

The person in charge of the innovation base, Tan Fanmin, introduced to the participants of the training course the construction concept of the innovation base, development planning and the situation of the projects under research, and introduced and explained in detail the implementation of the major special project of innovation-driven development in our region, “the construction and demonstration of mangrove ecological farmland in shrimp ponds”, as well as the results achieved. During the visit and study, we exchanged and discussed on mangrove ecological environment protection and restoration and sustainable development and utilization. This on-site teaching improved everyone's awareness of ecological environmental protection, and indicated that they would better learn and understand General Secretary Xi Jinping's development concept of harmonious coexistence of man and nature, and actively invest in the construction of marine ecological civilization and the construction of social and economic development of high-quality development work.
